About the Role:
DARI CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a carpenter. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials as required
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Supervise other workers
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People:
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
Work Environment:
