Commercial Door and Dock Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Door and Dock Installation Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal as the primary support for commercial/industrial customers, responsible for installation and repair of Doors and Docks in today's fast-paced market.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-10 years of experience in installing loading dock equipment, sectional doors, and rolling doors. Electrical experience is a plus. They will be able to work in any weather conditions and require comfort with working in a dirty, dusty, oily environment.

This position has a competitive base salary of $34.17 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation pay, company truck and fuel card, company-paid power tools, growth opportunities, pension plan, ongoing training, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing various products, including but not limited to: loading dock equipment, vehicle restraints, sectional doors, and rolling doors
  • Repairing and troubleshooting defective equipment
  • Maintaining proper truck stock, inventory, and company vehicle
  • Accurately documenting job numbers, travel time, labeling equipment, and completing job assignments timely
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and products
  • Interacting with customers, end-users, and general contractors courteously and professionally
  • Applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address diverse door and site requirements
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance
  • Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Promoting the company's operational visions, values, and goals
  • Participating in training or other team activities to support ongoing continuous improvement

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to handle a physical workload. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with power tools and have independent work capability. A background check is mandatory.
