Job Title: Localization Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for languages? We are seeking a skilled Localization Specialist to join our team at PTW-Montreal.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to work on our localization team. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our games in Brazilian Portuguese.

Responsibilities:
  • Proofread and identify language errors in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Verify that games adhere to console manufacturer guidelines
  • Write reports of errors and bugs found to improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Ensure the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed
Requirements:
  • Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese is mandatory
  • Strong cultural understanding of Brazil
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential for working with international clients
  • Basic proficiency in French is required for communication and collaboration
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
