Catch 122 Restaurant and Hospitality Corp. - Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Catch 122 Restaurant and Hospitality Corp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen optimization.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for kitchen staff.
  • Supervise and mentor cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, including specialty dishes and meals for special guests or functions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Work Environment:
  • Restaurant setting with a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
Language:
  • English.
Work Term:
  • Permanent.
Hours:
  • 32 to 40 hours per week.
