Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, and emergency codes.
  • Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
  • Monitor front-end associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and provide assistance to outlying registers.
  • Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, and initiatives.
  • Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions and assist with error corrections, providing approvals and verifying processes to meet company guidelines.
  • Ensure EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating and greeters handling issues appropriately.
  • Prepare registers for opening and closing daily and support cashiers by providing change as needed, while maintaining front-end cash levels and supporting processes by completing audits on register accuracy.
  • Oversee and promote company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and retail operations, with excellent communication and leadership skills. A minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.85, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
