Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at St. Marys Golf & Country Club Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, and perform various tasks related to grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed and applying fertilizers.
  • Tie and secure plants, and perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers and trimmers.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and rake and collect refuse.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a golf course setting, with staff accommodation available. Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
