Office Administrator Role
At POWER Engineers, we are seeking a skilled Office Administrator to join our team. This full-time position will be based in our Edmonton, Alberta office and will be responsible for coordinating office operations and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various office tasks, including answering phone calls, greeting guests, and processing packages.
- Provide assistance to managers and other department personnel.
- Assist with onboarding new staff members.
- Type, edit, and proofread documents and presentations.
- Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
- Schedule and organize meetings.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Monitor tender sites for potential opportunities.
- Perform data entry and reconcile invoices and expenses.
- Manage office supplies inventory.
- Coordinate special events and maintain common areas.
- Support the IT team as needed.
- Coordinate with internal and external contractors.
- Assist with health, safety, and environment committees.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required.
- 1+ years of experience in an office or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
- Familiarity with office equipment.
- Strong organization and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Class 5 license with a vehicle for local travel.
