Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development - Create new recipes and menus to cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Team Leadership - Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Training and Development - Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, as well as train staff in food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Quality Control - Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to maintain high-quality standards and ensure food meets customer expectations.
  • Equipment Management - Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-equipped kitchen.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a chef or in a related role.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong team player skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
