Job Description:

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team at Arlyn Recruiting. As an integral member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to both clients and employees alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources Support

You will provide guidance and assistance to employees on various HR-related matters, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the organization.

Talent Acquisition and Management

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting preparation, applicant screening, candidate selection, and reference checks.

Performance Management and Development

Participate in administering performance reviews and development programs, ensuring employee growth and success.

HR Administration and Operations

Process time-off requests, track staff absences, coordinate meetings, probationary/performance reviews, and other administrative tasks.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Conduct thorough onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions for new and departing employees.

Health and Safety Compliance

Serve as a member of our Health & Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Special Projects and Events

Coordinate HR-related events, such as flu vaccinations and staff appreciation week, to promote employee well-being and engagement.

Payroll and Budgeting

Act as payroll backup and participate in mid-year and year-end budget procedures to ensure accurate financial management.

Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education

A degree, certificate, or diploma in Human Resources is required.

Work Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a recruitment or talent management role.

Skills and Qualifications

Familiarity with standard HR concepts, practices, policies, and procedures; knowledge of HRIS systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong problem-solving skills; sound judgment and decision-making abilities.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
