Materials Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Skjodt-Barrett Foods. As a Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate the procurement and delivery of raw materials and packaging materials to meet production schedules.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all material requirements, including sales orders and changing customer needs.
- Support the execution of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) demand plan and production schedule through accurate and efficient inbound materials planning.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate amounts of materials are available for timely delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and understand forecast drivers.
- Functional supply chain experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), purchasing, and logistics.
- Highly proficient with MS Office and ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance competing demands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
