Job Description

Mainland Motors is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Operations Director to lead our retail store team. As the highest-ranking operations professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the store and driving sales growth through effective management of staff, merchandise, and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and motivate a team of employees to ensure excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Merchandise Management: Determine the types and quantities of merchandise to be sold, as well as their pricing and promotion strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer demand, and develop strategies to capitalize on this information.
  • Budgeting: Plan and manage budgets to control expenses and maximize revenue.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the store and its products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Paid Holidays: 20 days per year.
  • Holidays: December 25th - January 1st off.
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
