Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient appointments and perform clerical duties under the direction of nursing staff and physicians.
  • Act as a receptionist and communicate with patients on the phone and in person.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including word processing, data entry, and filing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of clerical duties in an acute care healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated keyboarding skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to attend work regularly and demonstrate analytical skills in relation to knowledge of hospital operations.
  • Effective organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
