We are a dynamic and growing company in the landscaping industry, seeking a skilled Landscaping Crew Member to join our team.



Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and physically fit individual to assist with landscape constructions, maintenance, and upkeep of gardens, lawns, and landscapes. As a Landscaping Crew Member, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and mowing;
  • Tie and secure plants, trees, and other vegetation;
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance;
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse as needed;
  • Remove litter and garbage from properties and public areas;
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required;
  • Lay sod or seed new lawns and gardens;
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance landscapes;
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals to promote healthy plant growth;
  • Repair and maintain equipment used in landscaping tasks;
  • Write daily basic progress reports to update management on job status;
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as necessary;
  • Operate and maintain various landscaping maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and pruners;
  • Participate in tree removal services when required;


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:


  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Previous experience in landscaping is an asset, but not essential;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays;
  • Availability to commit to a permanent position with 40 hours per week.
