About the Opportunity

As a key member of the Mental Health and Addictions Intake Leadership team, the Assistant Manager plays a vital role in advancing the priorities of the portfolio. This involves supporting the development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives, ensuring the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal, and material resources in delivering quality client-centered care.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in healthcare leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in health or a related field, be eligible for registration with a relevant health or professional discipline, and have 3-5 years of recent and related progressive leadership experience. Experience in mental health and addictions is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal, and material resources in delivering quality client-centered care
  • Collaborate with the Provincial Manager of Intake and the Provincial Clinical Practice Lead to implement initiatives to support standardization and advancement of person-centered services
  • Develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health or a related field
  • Eligible for registration with a relevant health or professional discipline
  • 3-5 years of recent and related progressive leadership experience
  • Strong working knowledge of mental health and addictions care delivery systems
  • Ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
