Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Union of Ontario Indians. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment, retention, and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Employee Onboarding: Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing benefits, and coordinating training programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall well-being.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
