About the Position:
Lambton College of Applied Arts & Technology seeks a highly qualified and motivated individual to teach part-time in the Information Technology Division, pending sufficient enrolment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Networking Fundamentals courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive teaching environment and foster student engagement;
- Prepare and update lesson plans to ensure student success;
- Deliver course materials and provide instruction in a clear and concise manner;
- Assess student learning and provide detailed feedback;
- Communicate effectively with students and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner;
- Maintain currency with industry developments and best practices in networking and operating systems;
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a post-secondary education in computer studies, preferably with a focus on networking technologies. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Information Technology networking is required, along with excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of networking and operating systems.
