Job Description:
As an Auto Claims Advisor with TD Insurance, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to customers in their time of need. You will represent the company as a knowledgeable and compassionate professional, ensuring that customers feel supported and their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support customer claims from start to finish, arranging towing, setting up appraisals, and outlining coverage under policy terms.
- Gather and verify required information and documentation to resolve claims thoroughly and efficiently.
- Reconcile estimates from vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for damages sustained to customers' vehicles.
- Maintain a positive file count and open/close ratio to contribute to team productivity objectives.
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as external vendors such as Enterprise and repair shops.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- One or more years of claims adjusting experience is preferred, but we welcome applicants without specific claims experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Superior time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes and demonstrate clear, professional communication skills.
