Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweet Harbour Toy & Candy Co. Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, positive attitude.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
