Job Title: Senior Director, Regulatory Risk Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Regulatory Risk Services to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, and executing communications strategies for designated internal and external audiences that support the business priorities of BMO Private Wealth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic communications plans for assigned Head Office partners, actively leading the planning process for these partners.
  • Develop strategic direction for business-specific and BMO Private Wealth Intranet channels.
  • Develop communications in support of assigned Head Office partners, providing writing and editorial services, approvals, translation, and design facilitation services, as well as communication distribution.
  • Secure all necessary approvals when implementing communications strategies and plans, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and LOB communication standards.
  • Ensure corporate translation policy is maintained and all messaging is made available simultaneously in both English and French.
  • Champion a straight-talk communications style that promotes transparency in writing style.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Journalism or Communications.
  • Significant experience in a communications-related position, with at least 5 years of experience as a communicator within a financial services organization preferred.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course or other industry credentials would be a definite asset.
