Medical Professional for Cancer Care

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at BC Cancer, providing comprehensive cancer care for the people of British Columbia.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for examination, assisting nursing and medical staff, and performing various nursing procedures such as catheterizations and sterile dressings. Additionally, they will provide clerical duties, including organizing appointment lists and ensuring charts are returned for order processing.
Requirements- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
This is a Monday-Friday position with varied hours, depending on operational needs. The successful candidate must be able to commit to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada and have knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities.
