Senior Manager, Regulatory Risk Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Regulatory Risk to join our Global Finance, Regulatory Risk Governance group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's mandate and overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the overall success of the Global Finance, Regulatory Risk Governance group by ensuring all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and improve internal controls for Global Finance operations across Canada, IB, GWM, and GBM.
- Develop and maintain specific training to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Compliance Risk to implement and optimize the model with changes resulting from audit findings, regulatory, compliance, and policy reviews.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate the current state of internal controls and the operational performance of Global Finance.
- Prior experience in Finance or Audit or Risk environments of 8+ years.
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial and management reporting principles; knowledgeable of the Bank's products, operations, and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of risks (inherent and residual) impacting banking and finance, internal controls, and evaluation.
- Strong analytical, data visualization (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI etc.), problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to interact with various Finance units at different management levels.
