Transportation Specialist for Youth and Young Adults

Job DescriptionAs a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting primarily youth and young adults within our Surrey Artful Afternoon Program and other projects as needed.
The main driving responsibility will be centered around our Central Surrey location, with occasional needs arising from our Granville Island location throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely transport youth to and from Arts Umbrella facilities
- Act as an ambassador, positively representing Arts Umbrella in interactions with schools, students, families, and partner locations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and support scheduled maintenance activities related to transportation vehicles
- Remain up to date with the Motor Vehicles Act and Arts Umbrella Transportation Policy and procedures, making ongoing suggestions for improvement
- Perform other duties as required
- Unrestricted Class 4 Commercial driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with children and youth would be an asset
- A collaborative approach
- Excellent organizational skills
- First Aid Level One certificate would be an asset

CompensationOur estimated salary range is $21-$23 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
