About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pet Care Specialist to join our team at PET VALU. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in ensuring consistently great execution and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all store operations, including cash handling, customer sales, and merchandise preparation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, recommending products and services to create a healthy and playful life for pets.
  • Assist with store maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, and other general tasks.
  • Unload delivery vehicles and stock merchandise, including pet food and supplies.
  • Effectively open and close the store, following company procedures.
  • Assign daily goals and tasks to ACEs in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
