Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at S I Systems. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our integrated complaint reporting and management system.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing efficient data models that support accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop enterprise architecture assessment artifacts across business, data, application, technology, and security domains.
  2. Design and implement a data model supporting efficient, accurate reporting by organizing data relationships, optimizing data flow, and ensuring accessibility for real-time insights and analytics.
  3. Define and catalog metadata for each data object and establish process linkages, ensuring data traceability, ownership, retention, and governance to support complaint handling functions.
  4. Prepare and organize artifacts for review and approval by the architectural review boards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data modeling and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of TOGAF and Zachman framework principles.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
