About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Social Media Lead to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our social media department, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic social media plans that drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in social marketing, including creative development, and a proven track record of generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns. You will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent to develop innovative social content that resonates with our Canadian audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the development and launch of social strategies for Prime Video in Canada">
  • Oversee creative ideation and development to deliver innovative always-on social content">
  • Work closely with brand, creative, paid social, PR, and synergy teams to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations">
  • Foster global social conversation and leverage to build vibrant communities">
  • Manage paid media strategy for editorial boosting in Canada">
  • Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • 6+ years of experience in social marketing, including creative development">
  • A proven track record of generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns">
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent">
  • Creative editorial experience, ideally within social media">
  • Fluency in French and experience with the Quebec market (preferred but not required)">
  • Analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs">
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives">
  • Experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts with over 1MM social followers">
  • A background or passion for the entertainment industry, especially TV and film">
  • Post-graduate studies in Social Media, Digital Marketing, or Communications">

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
