Job Title: Lead Bioanalytical Research Scientist
About the Role:
Brunel is seeking an experienced Lead Bioanalytical Research Scientist to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our bioanalytical department, you will be responsible for leading projects related to Anti Drug Antibody discovery and research.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement assay development, qualification, validation, and production strategies to ensure scientific quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Manage multiple assay types, mentor junior staff, and have direct reports.
- Conduct method development, validation, and sample analysis projects, and manage timelines and scheduling commitments.
- Provide QC support on studies assigned to other team members, perform data batch review, and complete documentation as required.
- Communicate complex data sets to key stakeholders and participate in meetings with clients, conferences, and scientific outreach.
- Maintain compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and company guidelines.
Requirements:
- University or College degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a relevant field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in regulated clinical and/or preclinical studies, preferably in a CRO environment, with Anti Drug Antibody experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, sense of urgency, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read and understand study plans and protocols.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (French is preferred).
What We Offer:
We provide a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
