The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems.
  • Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, repair/rebuild/replace parts where required.
  • Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when completing jobs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) of various types of machines, including determining what maintenance is required.
  • Track and document PM reports and downtime.
  • Conduct general facility maintenance tasks.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
  • Work safely with a range of hand tools.

Requirements:
  • 2 to 4 years' experience working as a CNC Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment or similar job.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC Lathe and Milling machinery is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills working within a team-based environment.
  • Strong ability to work independently to complete assignments promptly while maintaining high standards required in our industry.
  • Experience using lifting devices (cranes and fork-lifts).
