About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Canada. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for risk management and governance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems that support our risk management and governance processes. This includes:

  • Developing and deploying automated workflow processes to facilitate risk management and governance,
  • Implementing data integration and centralization functions to strengthen risk monitoring processes,
  • Providing IT solutions to strengthen the overall governance processes by mandating evidence that supports the validated framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing and deploying cloud-based web applications, preferably with Azure. Additionally, they should have a good understanding of testing strategies, including TDD and BDD, as well as experience building and automating continuous integration pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Computer Science,
  • 1 year of previous experience in software engineering,
  • Fluent English language skills (B2-C1),
  • Proficient command of MS Office,
  • Good communication and presentation skills,
  • Strong software skills and the art of developing software to the highest quality standards,
  • Familiarity with React, Typescript, Nest JS, and CI/CD,
  • Experience with Scrum methodology.
