About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Yan's Home. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our children in the comfort of their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for our children.
  • Education and Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their overall growth and well-being.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing reliable transportation services.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
Certifications and Licenses
  • First Aid Certificate: Possession of a valid First Aid Certificate.
