We are seeking a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer to lead our team of geotechnical professionals in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and a proven track record of mentoring and leading teams. Experience with subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, instrument installations, shallow and deep foundation engineering, and quality control inspections is essential.

This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to high-profile projects across Canada and the U.S. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, reviewing reports, and participating in business development initiatives.

  • Lead a team of geotechnical engineers and technologists specializing in industrial and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee a wide range of geotechnical-focused projects, including site investigations, monitoring, laboratory testing, design, and construction.
  • Provide technical expertise on soil mechanics, foundation design, and soil-structure interaction.
  • Manage quality control and risks during geotechnical design, collaborating with other disciplines as needed.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is also highly valued. Current registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in relevant provinces is required.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including exposure to numerical modeling and finite element analysis, is necessary. Strong mentoring and leadership skills, excellent technical writing abilities, and a valid driver's license are also essential.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience
