Executive Chef with Menu Planning Expertise

Afghan Kitchen is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu planning, cooking, and staff management.
Responsibilities- Plan menus that meet customer expectations and nutritional standards
- Prepare and cook meals for our restaurant, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
- Source and manage inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and quality control
This is a full-time position, requiring the ability to work extended hours during peak periods. Public transportation is available nearby.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
