About the Role

This full-time opportunity is based out of our office in Stellarton, NS.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement functional and technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Translate user requirements into solution designs for development and implementation of business technology solutions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure solutions conform to IT and team standards.
  • Provide accurate estimates from analysis and design specifications for yourself and other team members.
  • Capture and define technical and operational requirements for solutions.
  • Ensure all documentation is created, up-to-date, and correct before solution or changes are implemented into production.
  • Analyze and amend software to correct errors in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Determine the most effective program/configuration solution from technical specifications provided by an experienced developer or business analyst.
  • Create unit test plans with detailed test cases and consistently write and test solutions without errors.
What You'll Need
  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of software development techniques, including unit testing and object-oriented design techniques.
  • Experience in software engineering and solution delivery methodologies, including integration experience with IBM MQ, IBM Stirling, IBM App Connect, Mulesoft, or Boomi.
