Agricultural Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves troubleshooting and repairing agricultural equipment. As an Agricultural Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our clients' equipment, providing expert advice on maintenance and repair, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions;
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctionalities using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs required;
  • Order parts and maintain inventory;
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications;
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment;
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work;
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks;
  • Verify and repair emission control systems;
  • Perform other routine maintenance;
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in agricultural equipment maintenance and repair;
Work Site Environment:
  • Outdoors;
  • Dusty environment;
  • Noisy environment;
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits, life insurance, pension plan, and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
