Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Support Services Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, and resolving requests related to assigned work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of mail and courier services, ensuring timely and secure processing;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on mail and courier activities;
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve issues and provide support as needed;
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma and post-secondary courses in office or business administration;
  • Working experience in a comparable work environment, including front-of-office experience;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer;
  • Some knowledge of mail and courier systems;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to lift over 30 lbs and be mobile throughout a shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong understanding of database systems, basic accounting principles, and Windows OS and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) would be an asset.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
