About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Royal Leaf Painting Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless finish.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages to access high areas, and attach rigging to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Advise clients on colour choices and wall coverings to meet their specific needs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate for work assignments.
Work Environment

You will be working in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings. Our company covers relocation costs, and we are willing to relocate for the right candidate.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable and able to take initiative in completing tasks.
