About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Yan's Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the children's safety and well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional development.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for the children, providing a stable and loving environment.
  • Take the children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
