Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Clinic Drug Store. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Enter client information into databases
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
  • Record and balance daily transactions
  • Process claims transactions
  • Process purchases
  • Perform routine clerical duties
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Check final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging methods
  • Check information gathered for completeness and accuracy
  • Balance daily transactions
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data
  • Deliver immunization programs
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Verify receipts and packing slips
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
  • Collect information through interview, investigation, and observation
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
