About the Opportunity
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a full-time, contract Research Analyst to support work within the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre.
Job Description
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting research initiatives focused on pharmacological interventions for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment of participants from outpatient clinics and liaison with treating psychiatrists;
- Assisting in participant screening, consenting, scheduling, and preparing for visits and/or interviews;
- Administering assessments and scoring neuropsychological tests, clinical, and functional assessment scales;
- Conducting thorough searches of electronic resources, preparing data for presentations, and peer-reviewed research papers;
- Managing participant records, databases, and study logs according to regulatory guidelines;
- Creating study tools, preparing regulatory submissions, maintaining documentation, and summarizing data for progress reports;
- Other administrative, research, and evaluation activities as required.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field combined with at least one year of relevant clinical research experience. Prior experience working on a Health Canada-regulated research study is essential. Experience with studies using psychedelics, interviewing autistic individuals, and administering specific assessments are significant assets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and database software packages is also required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, researchers, and within an inter-professional team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
