Software Development Engineer, Workforce Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality code on time as part of a cross-functional team.
Contribute to team discussions around system component design, improvement, and integration.
Design and develop high-performance, test-driven code.
Work with and maintain a large existing code base, as well as new components, and contribute to deployment and QA processes.
A Day in the Life:
As a Software Development Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new features to improving existing ones. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers and work on cutting-edge technology to drive business results.
About the Team:
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers Amazon's global fulfillment network. We invent and deliver software, hardware, and data science solutions that orchestrate processes, robots, machines, and people. Our Workforce Optimization team delivers innovative systems and products to automate labor management and staffing decisions across processes and functions at Amazon's global fulfillment network locations.
Requirements:
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
