Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Health and Wellness Specialist to join our Amazon team. In this role, you will play a critical part in promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
  • Minimize the risk of injury among employees through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
  • Maintain all records of care provided to employees.
  • Coordinate and maintain workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for employees with work-related injuries.
  • Prepare daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
  • Engage with employees and leadership on the operations floor to provide coaching regarding observed at-risk work habits.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained.
  • Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED classes.
  • Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Requirements
  • $65,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated salary based on industry standards)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid standard first aid with CPR/AED level A or C certification from a recognized authority
  • One of the following certifications: Primary Care Paramedic, Registered Practical Nurse, or Military Medical Technician experience
  • Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping
