About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at Ideal Career Consulting. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to perform heavy lifting tasks in various locations.
  • Clean and maintain cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Drive pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on cranes to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a crane operator with a strong understanding of heavy construction projects.
  • Valid certificates and training in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), First Aid, and Confined Space Entry.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Working Conditions
  • Work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Physically demanding environment with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and heights.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $80,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and location.
