Physician in Respiratory Medicine Opportunity at University Hospital of Northern BC

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) is seeking a skilled Respirologist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work alongside experienced colleagues, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
As a Respirologist with UHNBC, your duties will include outpatient and inpatient consultations, bronchoscopy procedures, and supervising our level 4 accredited pulmonary function lab. You will also participate in on-call Internal Medicine rotations and teach medical students and residents.

Role and Responsibilities- Providing expert respiratory care to patients through outpatient and inpatient consultations
- Performing bronchoscopy procedures as required
- Supervising our level 4 accredited pulmonary function lab
- Participating in on-call Internal Medicine rotations
- Teaching medical students and residents
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
- Eligibility for provisional BC licensure
We are offering a competitive fee-for-service compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of $350,000++. Additionally, you may be eligible for retention premiums, relocation funding, recruitment incentives, and other benefits.
