About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Ricky's All Day Grill - Spruce Grove. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are washed and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Assist with food service, including serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliability and efficiency in completing tasks.
