Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Hospital Ambulatory Care Unit, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing independent nursing services and administering prescribed medical treatments
  • Leading the healthcare team and coordinating patient care and discharge

You will work under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services and be responsible for demonstrating a commitment to our organization's vision, values, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing education program
  • Previous nursing experience in a hospital setting (considered an asset)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements in accordance with our Employer policy
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
  • Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area
  • Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients
  • Ability to perform independently and as a member of the healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
