About the Role

Randstad Canada is seeking a Bilingual French Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client in Cambridge, ON. The successful candidate will have a general understanding of business processes and basic accounting and accounts receivable knowledge.

Main Responsibilities

- Assist in daily application of incoming cheques and banking, maintaining all A/R accounts in an orderly fashion

- Prepare daily bank deposits by verifying and balancing cheques

- Investigate payments discrepancies and delinquent accounts, and follow-up with customers and internal management as needed

- Respond promptly to customer queries and provide backup support

- Perform daily collection and proper follow-up calls through phone and emails

- Handle credit reference requests

- Process monthly statements

Requirements

- Completion of a college or university program in accounting or bookkeeping

- Must have accurate data entry skills and practical use of Excel and Word

- Ability to have excellent rapport with all staff members and customers

- Self-starter, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines for daily, weekly and monthly goals

- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
