Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Service Technician to join our team at AUTOIQ SHARED SERVICES LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime and ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Document all work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems and components.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
