The Role

The Painter/Sandblaster is responsible for producing various equipment for heating systems for customers across North America.

Our manufacturing facility is located at 2721 Plymouth Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 5R5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with enamel and epoxy paint, wearing a mask and helmet that provides fresh air.
  • Mask jobs and prepare surfaces prior to painting.
  • Read drawings and fill out paint reports manually.
  • Perform general assembly when the scope of operations is low and be willing to be crossed-trained in other production phases.
  • Perform minor servicing of sandblast equipment.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing in long hours and bending when necessary.
Qualifications
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Assembly experience is preferred.
  • Crane and tow motor training is a requirement, provided by Thermon Canada Inc.
