About the Role:

The Regional Director of Admissions will be responsible for leading the admissions team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role will involve developing and implementing an integrated enrollment strategy to attract and retain students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales quotas for admissions representatives.
  • Provide input into sales forecasts for each campus.
  • Direct and oversee the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems.
  • Employ ethical admission practices that meet regulatory and college standards.
  • Seek out creative methods to attract culturally diverse prospective students.
  • Continually evaluate and provide feedback on admissions testing tools.
  • Lead major account business development initiatives.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of MTCU and WSIB regulations.
  • Analyze enrollment reports to determine effectiveness of admissions team interviews, closing rates, and terminations.
  • Provide monthly enrollment reporting and projections.
  • Represent triOS at various gatherings and conferences related to admissions.
  • Promote good relationships and create networking opportunities with outside institutions or groups.
  • Hire and train Education Consultants and Directors of Admissions.
  • Ensure admissions team members are adequately skilled and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Ensure Directors of Admissions lead and manage Education Consultants to standards defined by the Corporation.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in sales or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in an admissions capacity at a higher education institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
  • Ability to trouble shoot difficult situations in relation to customer relations.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
