We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ogilvie Financial Services Inc.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative roles and be proficient in coordinating daily operations, planning and organizing tasks, and maintaining digital databases.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, coordinate HR department activities, and plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.

You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and relaying messages, as well as compiling data and statistics.

The work setting for this role is finance and insurance, and you will be working 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating team activities
  • Maintain and manage digital databases, including ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including compiling data and statistics
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in administrative roles an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
