Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to provide administrative support to our departments and programs, including medical transcription.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical administrative support to departments and programs
  • Transcribe medical records and documents
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
Requirements
  • One year of previous experience in an office environment
  • Medical Administrative Assistant diploma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and advanced keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a multi-site position with home site at Addictions Treatment Centre Victoria Avenue and additional sites at Mental Health Clinic Hamilton Street, Autism Clinic Broad Street, Opioid Addiction Treatment Centre Albert Street, and Child and Youth Services Albert Street.
